Camp of Artists and Activists: Inspiring Positive Change

September 19, 2023

16-18.09.2023

Over three enriching days, participants immersed themselves in a blend of learning, creativity, emotions, love, and activism. This event united artists and activists in a shared mission to ignite positive transformations.

From September 16 to 18, 2023, the Camp of Artists and Activists convened in Kukaj Village, under the guidance of Qendresa Kajtazi, Zhaneta Xhemajli, and Blerta Gubetini. These days were marked by a tapestry of narratives, experiences, and sentiments, drawing artists and activists closer as they discovered their abundant commonalities.

Through group workshops, dynamic stage exercises, expressive writing, and liberating spiritual meditations, participants found optimal avenues to convey their perspectives and societal aspirations. Beyond these sessions, the gathering fostered vibrant discussions, incubating concepts and ideas that breathed life into their artistic performances.

As artists and activists coalesced into groups, a profound and creative synergy emerged, fortified by shared ideals and objectives. This unity propelled them to manifest artistic expressions that resonate with and advocate for critical social causes.

Together, we are a power for change!

This activity was implemented by Artpolis, supported by the program of the Kosovo Foundation for Civil Society (KCSF) ‘EJA Kosovo’, co-financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Sweden and the Government of the Great Duchy of Luxembourg.
