Following the two-day workshop held in Gjilan weeks ago on the same topic was also held the discussion panel “Addressing Sexual Harassment in Public Universities in Kosovo” at “Kadri Zeka” University, Gjilan, on 31.10.2019.

With the panelists, experts dealing with the subject raised many issues.

The panelists who were experts in dealing with this kind of topics, raised many issues. The University’s internal rules of procedure to address sexual harassment, cases addressed and their treatment by responsible authorities, student challenges to report cases, symbolic actions of students and civil society to avoid being silent this phenomenon, as well as performances, workshops and findings from Artpolis’ report on sexual harassment within public universities, were discussed.

The audience, consisting of students from Kadri Zeka University, was very active and contributed to the panel discussion with questions and elaborations.

This panel discussion was implemented by Artpolis and supported by the non-governmental organization CFD/Switzerland under the framework “Jointly and creatively against gender based violence”.
