In Skenderaj, on May 27, a theater club was formed with young men and women from this city, who will have the opportunity to hold the training “Theater Based Education” for more than a month.

They have already started to be part of exercises and lectures on theater, performances, stage movements as well as addressing various topics through performances.

These young men and women from Skenderaj will have the opportunity to learn from the coaches and actors of the artistic troupe of Artpolis: Donikë Ahmeti, Qëndresa Kajtazi, Zhaneta Xhemajli.

This training is held based on the manual “Techniques Based on Theater for Peer Education”.

These young men and women are undergoing training to create a forum theater performance that is expected to premiere at the end of June. After the end of the performance, the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions to the characters about the topic addressed in the show.

In the coming months, Artpolis will establish theater clubs in Shtime and Has, in order to have the widest possible scope of art and culture, and in particular theater, through which topics of importance to the communities of these regions will be addressed.
