“Theater Based Education” training was held on 5-8 February, 2021 with young people from different municipalities and communities living in Kosovo.
Young men and women from different municipalities of Kosovo came together to learn about theater, theatrical techniques, improvisation, creating short scenes, breathing exercises, rhythm tracking and numerous discussions on human rights and social issues.
Topics covered were: gender-based violence, gender equality, sexual harassment, discrimination, bullying and early marriage.
The training was held by Daniela Markaj and Qendresa Kajtazi, both trainers gave the participants new information, games and emotions. On the other hand, the willingness of young people to learn and get as much as possible from these sessions made the closing of the training to be filled with full knowledge, positive energy and new friendships and it was described by these young people as an unforgettable experience.
