On February 18, 2025, Artpolis, in collaboration with the “Çesk Zadeja” High School of Arts, established the Theatrical Club in Ferizaj.

This initiative aims to create a safe and inspiring space for young people, where they can express their creativity, develop their performance skills, and explore topics that deeply resonate with them through theater.

The participants of the club will engage in a creative process through the “Theater-Based Education” training, helping them understand the power of art as a tool for reflection and social change. Under the mentorship of actors Kushtrim Qerimi and Dora Xhemajli, they will work on the concept of William Shakespeare’s classic play Romeo and Juliet, examining it from contemporary perspectives and exploring themes of love, division, and youthful rebellion in society.

As part of this process, the young participants will create a forum theater performance, an interactive format that not only brings a story to the stage but also encourages the audience to reflect and interact with the characters. Through this method, they will address important social issues, inviting the audience to become part of the dialogue and explore different possibilities for change.

In addition to their performance skills, participants will also develop a range of life skills that will help them in other aspects of their lives. Through group work, improvisation, and stage creation, they will enhance their communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities. Role-playing and analyzing social themes will help them better understand the world around them and empower them to act as active citizens.

This activity is organized by Artpolis in collaboration with the “Çesk Zadeja” High School of Art, with the support of Frieda and the Ministry of Culture.
