From Ruins of War to Resilience: “Women of Troy” Call…
November 6, 2024
1-6 October, 2021
The 9th edition of FemArt will long remain in the minds of artists and art lovers, not only for the variety of artistic activities but also for the last night of this edition.
October six was a night that passed between pain and pride, sorrow and prayer. Deep pain for the death of the artist, photographer and friend Meddy Huduti, and the pride and gratitude for the cooperation with him and that we had the opportunity to know and touch closely his art and love. Sorrow that we will no longer have among us to seize the moment, and with prayer for his white soul.
The artists honored Meddy and the public with an excellent performance on the stage of the National Theater with “Cabaret Night”, while the performance of “La vie en rose” by Zana Berisha was a special dedication to the special artist. Femart said goodbye to Meddy with a minute of silence, applause, and notes in the diary in the hall of the National Theater.
For six days in a row, 01-06 October, 2021 in seven different locations in Prishtina the public had the opportunity to attend 27 activities, including: theater performances, performances, workshops, exhibitions, murals, poetry evenings, podcasts, etc. But, a huge audience was part of 9th edition of FemArt through our online platforms.
