The theater performance “Unlimited” achieved a successful presentation in Vushtrri, following its earlier performances in Prishtina and Mitrovica. The Handikos Theater Club, featuring actors with disabilities, delivered a compelling show to an audience of over 170 people.
The performance, which showcased the daily life of individuals with disabilities, conveyed love stories and portrayed the potential and desire for a life without limits. Notably, the Municipality of Vushtrri used this occasion to commemorate December 3, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
“Unlimited” not only highlighted the challenges faced by this segment of society but also served as a source of inspiration for both those with disabilities and individuals with “typical” development. The actors, proud of their identity, emitted positive energy, transcending life’s challenges and societal barriers. Their performance aimed to break down these barriers and garner appreciation for their creative and artistic abilities.
Beyond the performance itself, the Theater Club showcased additional artistic works, including wood sculptures and paintings, in the lobby of the “Hasan Prishtina” Culture Center.
This theater performance was created by Artpolis in collaboration with Handikos, with the support of the Joseph Handleman “I Believe in You” Foundation, Frieda, MKRS, while this presentation was supported by the Municipality of Vushtrri.
