March 13, 2025
03-04.04.2025
Artpolis held a two-day workshop in the scenic mountains of Brezovica on April 3–4, 2025, with the aim of strengthening internal team capacities, increasing organizational efficiency, and evaluating ongoing work and achievements.
The main focus during this retreat was the 13th edition of the FemArt Festival, set to take place from June 16–21, 2025. The team engaged in in-depth discussions about the festival’s programmatic content and structure, carrying out detailed planning of the artistic, educational, and advocacy activities to be implemented. Reflections on past editions were shared, challenges and accomplishments were assessed, and concrete steps were outlined for improving organizational processes and communication with audiences and partners.
An important portion of the workshop was also dedicated to planning Artpolis’ broader activities for the year 2025. Future projects were discussed with a focus on international collaboration, youth engagement, and the empowerment of marginalized groups through art.
A key component of the workshop included discussions around new strategies for fundraising. The team explored opportunities for collaboration with local and international donors and brainstormed ways to increase the organization’s visibility and impact through strategic partnerships.
