On February 28, 2023, Artpolis organized the training “Education of young women on feminism”
with girls and women from the Buçaj Sh.p.k. corporation.

14 women were part of this training, where they had the opportunity to learn and discuss gender
equality, and the challenges they face living in a patriarchal system. They shared their experiences
during this training, which was a reflection and desire for social change inside and outside the
community where they live in.

Nertila Qarri-Gërguri and Berat Bajrami from Artpolis, lectured in this training, who explained the
basics of feminism, from feminist terms, waves of feminism, to global and local feminist campaigns
and movements.

“Education of young women on feminism” training also served to teach the ways in which each of
them can contribute to building a feminist movement in Kosovo.
