Jelena Memet

Jelena Memet (1978) feminist, longtime peace activist in Serbia and the region, one of the founders and president of the Alternative Center for Girls since 2013. For more than 16 years she has been empowering girls and young women in preventing gender-based and digital violence, peace policies, digital and integrated security. One of the founders of the Feminist Spring School program for young women from Kosovo and Serbia, which has been organized for 7 years in order to build peace, break down prejudices and open a dialogue between young women from Kosovo and Serbia. Recently, she started working in philanthropy, which is aimed at supporting and empowering girls.
