Artpolis has established a Theater Club in Prizren, collaborating closely with Down Syndrome Kosovo – Prizren. On October 26, 2023, this initiative took shape, with 15 individuals with Down syndrome embarking on a journey to create a show. They are receiving guidance and mentorship from Artpolis Ensemble actresses, Donika Ahmeti and Blerta Gubetini, as well as choreographer Robert Nuha.

Through this theater club, we aim to accompany people with Down syndrome on their life journey, using performing arts as a platform for learning, entertainment, and collaborative artistic expression. The Theater Club’s two-month process will culminate in a performance in Prizren.

This activity is organized by Artpolis and supported by cfd, MKRS, Joseph Handleman “I Believe in You” Foundation, Down Syndrome Kosovo – Prizren, and the Municipality of Prizren.
