On October 21, at Kino Jusuf Gërvalla in Pejë, the play “Behind the Screen” was presented to an audience of around 55 students and teachers from Bedri Pejani High School.

The play explored the social impact of online violence and abuse, revealing how control, manipulation, and digital pressures affect human relationships. The story unfolded at a university in Kosovo, where the characters Krenari, Dafina, Lea, Ardi, and Professor Drita confronted the realities of social media and the influence of the “manosphere.”

Using the Forum Theatre method, the audience was invited to intervene, discuss, and propose solutions, turning the stage into a space for reflection and awareness about psychological and online forms of violence.

The production was directed and written by Zana Hoxha, with actors Ismail Kasumi, Qendresa Kajtazi, Anisa Ismaili, Edlir Gashi, and Albana Gashi.

The event was organized by Artpolis, with the support of Kosova Women’s Network and East West Management Institute, providing a powerful educational and awareness-raising experience for the audience.
