From Stage to Awareness: “Behind the Screen” Tackles Online Violence…
December 18, 2025

On the second day, we began not with performances, but with truth.
Moderated by Venera Ismaili of Artpolis, artists from across the Balkans shared stories of struggle and resilience, asking a single, profound question: when does art become peace?
The answer echoed throughout the day. It was in the silent, powerful language of bodies in the choreodrama from Serbia. It was in the dramatic intensity of North Macedonia’s “La Macbeth.” It was in the resonant chords of Mali Demon’s concert, a sound that felt like a collective heartbeat.
This is the essence of Circle Fest: creating a space where our fragmented stories can meet and weave themselves into a stronger, shared fabric. The day proved that peace is not a passive hope, but an active creation, built through the courage to listen and the art that makes listening possible.
Circle Fest is organized by Artpolis, suported by UNFPA in Kosovo
