On October 12, 2022, Artpolis conducted the training “Educating young women on feminism” with young women and girls from the city of Dragash.

29 girls and women discussed and recounted the experiences of being girls and women in a conservative and patriarchal society, emphasizing the cultural, spatial aspects and not only, as an indicator of oppression and multidimensional inequality, which they experience in many spheres of life.

The lecturer of this training was the activist and feminist Liridona Osmanaj, who spoke about feminist terms, waves of feminism, movements and feminist campaigns, using modern techniques of linking theory and practice.

This training was also carried out with the support of the Municipality of Dragash.

Artpolis is supported by the Kosovo Foundation for Civil Society (KCSF) program ‘EJA Kosovo’, co-financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Sweden and the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
