Why apply:
Intercultural Exchange: The program offers a unique opportunity to meet and collaborate with young artists from different cultures, which can lead to inspiring artistic projects.
Professional Development: Participation in expert lectures, discussions with renowned artists, and hands-on work allows you to gain new knowledge and develop your artistic skills.
Creative Colony: The five-day workshop provides the conditions and tools to create artworks that artists will promote.
Exhibitions and Performances: Your work will be exhibited or showcased in several cities, offering wide visibility and contributing to cultural diversity.
Covered Expenses: The organizers cover travel expenses, accommodation, meals, and entrance fees to museums, making this program affordable and supportive for young artists.
Connection with Cultural Actors: The network of contacts you create in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Pristina, Prizren, and Peja could open doors to future professional opportunities.
Encouraging Diversity: The program encourages artists with disabilities, as well as those from smaller cities, rural areas, marginalized communities, and/or deprived backgrounds, to start a new cultural story.
The “Culture Without Borders” program is dedicated to young artists in various sectors who are interested in actively engaging in joint artistic projects and creating and developing cultural connections. The working languages are Serbian, Albanian, and English.
The “Culture Without Borders” program consists of three interconnected actions:
Intercultural Exchange is a ten-day educational study trip for 16 young artists that will take place from March 20 to 30, 2025, in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Pristina, Prizren, and Peja. Participants will attend lectures from relevant experts, engage in inspiring conversations with renowned artists, visit cultural institutions, and connect with cultural workers. During the study visit, you will work with a mentor to conceptualize artworks that will be realized in the next phase—during the Creative Colony.
Creative Colony – A five-day workshop where artists will focus on creating artworks with the funds provided and the help of mentors. The budget is limited and will be processed during the workshop.
Local Art Exhibitions (joint exhibition of works created in Belgrade, Pristina, and another city).
The organizers cover the participation expenses, including:
Travel expenses
Accommodation
Food and refreshments

Participation conditions include:
Ages 18-35
