The premiere of “Sober” resonated with the human message of help against addiction.
The premiere of the play “Sober” resonated with the human message of help against addiction. Through the protagonists, on Monday night, December 19, 2022, the Tuberculosis Dispensary became the place from which the public was convinced that the community is the key pillar of the fight against drugs and alcohol.
The narration, under the direction of Butrint Pasha, with the actors of the Resident Artistic Troupe of Artpolis brought another version of healing: that through a circle that unites.
Each of the protagonists has a different story of addiction and for all the address becomes a home. The culminating part is the fact that those who have recovered from addiction themselves become medical personnel, facilitating the process of breaking away from this condition.
Based on Duncan MacMillan’s book People, Places and Things, the play “Sober” featured success stories of people addicted to drugs and alcohol.
For those who did not have the opportunity to see the premiere, they have the opportunity to watch tonight and tomorrow, December 20 and 21, the rerun of the show from 8:00 p.m.
