On November 15, 2024, the Down Syndrome Kosova Service Center in Prishtina hosted a unique storytelling experience on stage. The theatrical play “Unlimited” by the Handikos Theater Club presented its latest reprise, offering a space for reflection and interaction for all attendees.
This performance was a blend of personal and artistic narratives. Actors with disabilities brought their everyday stories to life, transforming them into a platform for dialogue that challenges limitations and stereotypes.
Every scene was a statement, every dialogue an invitation to see beyond. The participants in this creative act transcended social barriers, reflecting on identity and the power of acceptance. “Unlimited” was not an end but the beginning of a necessary dialogue.
The cast included: Fahri Krasniqi, Afërdita Haxholli, Albin Salihi, Festina Ibishi, Trimor Idrizi, Fortesë Vishesella, and Blerina Krasniqi.
Following the performance, the audience had the opportunity to explore another artistic dimension of the cast through an exhibition in the spaces of Down Syndrome Kosova.
This play was realized by Artpolis in collaboration with Handikos, with the support of the Joseph Handleman Foundation “I Believe in You,” Frieda, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MKRS), the Office of the President of Kosovo, and Down Syndrome Kosova – Service Center in Prishtina.
