In a city where stories often live in silence and dreams search for their stage, a new space for young voices was born on March 16, 2026 – the Theatre Club in Podujevë. An initiative that brings together creative energy and the transformative power of art, becoming a bridge between youth and social awareness.

Founded by Artpolis in collaboration with the Municipality of Podujevë, “Avdush Hasani” Theatre, “Aleksandër Xhuvani” Gymnasium, and the IAAP “Isa Boletini” Secondary School, this club is a laboratory of courage, reflection, and change.

The young women and men who have joined this journey will be guided by actors Qendresa Kajtazi and Edlir Gashi, who will mentor them through a two-month training process, Theatre-Based Education. In this space, the stage becomes a tool to explore reality, challenge norms, and build dialogue. From the first exercises to the creation of a forum theatre performance, participants will learn to listen, to express, and to act.

Beyond acting, the club nurtures essential life skills—empathy, collaboration, self-confidence, and critical thinking. Each rehearsal becomes a step toward self-discovery; each scene, a reflection of society.

This activity is organized by Artpolis with the support of Frieda and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, demonstrating that when art and community come together, spaces that inspire change are created.

The Theatre Club in Podujevë is more than a stage—it is a place where young people do not simply perform roles, but begin to write their own stories.
