On June 14, the Theater Club in Obiliq showcased a forum theater performance titled “The Bell Against Violence” at the House of Culture “Xhavit Haziri.” The event drew an audience of approximately 400 people.
“The Bell Against Violence” tackled the sensitive and alarming issue of violence among students in schools. The performance provided an analytical reflection on the current state and situation within our schools, which unfortunately remains a significant problem. Following the show, the audience had the opportunity to engage in discussions with the characters, delving deeper into the themes portrayed in the play.
The young men and women from Obiliq who participated in this performance were Almira Mehana, Ari Saraqi, Elvira Grajçevci, Elma Preniqi, Endrit Prokshi, Rea Xhakalija, Zyla Maloku, Ajana Kicaj, and Sara Krasniqi. They received guidance and mentorship from the Artpolis Artistic Troupe, consisting of Shpetim Selmani, Mikel Markaj, and Robert Nuha.
Artpolis organized and facilitated this activity with support by cfd, the Joseph Handleman “I Believe in You” Foundation, the Obiliq City Theater, and the Directorate for Culture, Youth, and Sports in Obiliq.
