“Art on the Train” successfully continued its second presentation, once again transforming the train journey from Pristina to Peja into a living space of art, encounter, and inspiration.
On 20 June 2026, dozens of participants experienced a diverse artistic program throughout the journey, where music, poetry, humor, and visual art intertwined to create a unique atmosphere. The guitar sounds of Ada Stefa accompanied the ride with emotional depth and positive energy, while Festim Bajçinca brought moments of stand-up comedy that filled the train carriages with laughter and applause.
Poems performed by Albana Gashi opened spaces for reflection and sensitivity, while Drilona Hamiti’s exhibition transformed the train into a moving gallery, bringing visual artworks closer to the audience in a completely new way.
“Art on the Train” once again proved that art can live beyond stages, galleries, and traditional spaces, creating direct experiences that connect people with culture, with one another, and with the landscapes passing along the route.
This activity is organized within the framework of the project “Heritage Horizons: A Journey Across Generations” by Artpolis, as part of the BOOST Balkans program, funded by the Agence Française de Développement and coordinated by ALDA Balkans.
