Nineteen young men and women attended the 3-day workshop “Theater Based Education” and gained additional insights into feminism through the “Education of Young Women on Feminism” training. This specific training took place on the second day of the workshop, on November 26, 2023.

The integration of these activities aimed not only to raise awareness about feminism among workshop participants but also to demonstrate the effectiveness of providing such training in an inclusive environment that includes both girls and boys, departing from the past practice of exclusively involving girls.

Under the guidance of activist and feminist Liridona Osmanaj, attendees delved into various aspects of feminism, including definitions, the history of feminist movements worldwide, and the development of feminism in Kosovo. The session also explored opportunities for contributing to diverse feminist activities.

The training, titled “Education of Young Women on Feminism,” is organized by Artpolis and receives support from the Kosovo Foundation for Civil Society (KCSF) through the ‘EJA Kosovo’ program, co-financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Sweden and the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
