June 7, 2024
15-18.07.2024
Young men and women from various cities and communities across Kosovo gathered for an unforgettable artistic adventure in Kukaj Village from July 15-18, 2024.
The camp provided participants with the opportunity to enhance their artistic skills and explore theater techniques, including stage movement, choreography, improvisation, scene creation, breathing exercises, rhythm, and analysis. This multi-ethnic artistic camp was led by Zana Hoxha, the director of Artpolis and the FemArt Festival, who is also a theater director, along with Artpolis Ensemble artists Shpëtim Selmani, Donikë Ahmeti, Qëndresa Kajtazi, and Labinot Raci. Each artist shared valuable lessons and artistic experiences with the participants through games, activities, and sessions based on the “Theatre-Based Education” Manual.
The three days were filled with games, emotions, diverse ideas, and a celebration of diversity, culminating in a closing session rich with knowledge, positive energy, and new friendships. The young participants regarded it as an unforgettable experience.
The Multi-Ethnic Summer Art Camp was organized by Artpolis – Art and Community Center, with support and funding from the United States Embassy in Prishtina, Kosovo.
