Artpolis has officially launched the International Campaign “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence,” placing students and the university environment at the center of its focus. With the distribution of the informational posters “Study Without Harassment” across 14 faculties of the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina,” this initiative marks the first step in a campaign dedicated to awareness, protection, and collective action.
Implemented in cooperation with the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina,” the Student Parliament, and with the support of UNFPA, this informational effort provides students with accessible guidance on the Regulation for the Prevention and Protection from Sexual Harassment and Harassment at UP: what constitutes harassment, how it is identified, and the procedures for reporting cases.
Speaking to Ekonomia Online and Kosovapress, Drilona Hamiti, Creative Assistant at Artpolis and Chair of the Student Parliament, emphasized that this approach makes the process of informing and reporting faster, safer, and more accessible for every student, strengthening the commitment to a dignified and harassment-free academic environment.
“This initiative aims to make the process of informing and reporting faster, safer, and more accessible for every student by offering direct access to all necessary resources. Artpolis and the UP Student Parliament remain committed to creating a safe and dignified university environment, continuing their work toward student empowerment and strengthening reporting mechanisms,” she stated.
Meanwhile, Ismet Krasniqi, Chair of the student organization “Reforma,” highlighted the importance of students’ understanding of the Regulation and the improved access to this information as a crucial step toward a safer university.
With this action, Artpolis and its partners reaffirm their dedication to building a university where every student feels safe and informed—reminding us that the fight against sexual harassment begins with awareness, transparency, and concrete action.
This initiative is organized by Artpolis in cooperation with the University of Prishtina and the Student Parliament, with the support of UNFPA.
