From Ruins of War to Resilience: “Women of Troy” Call…

November 5 – 8, 2019 – Prishtina (For Serbian scroll down)
The
second part of the Feminist Spring School was held in Prishtina from November 5
to 8, 2019.
Beautiful, important and very interesting lectures
as well as relaxing and inspiring activities were held during these days of
Feminist Spring School.
“The Feminist Spring School is a great opportunity to learn more about feminist but also political issues that have been and are problematic between the two countries such as Kosovo and Serbia. The training was very productive providing us with a lot of knowledge about peace and activism, about sexual violence during the war which I think is one of the most important topics to inform not only us but also girls from Serbia. I think we had a great time together because we all had a common goal, such as being informed more accurate about what happened and the problems we face in everyday life such as gender inequality.: – described the training, Shahe Selmani from Ferizaj.
Meanwhile Sanja Krstić from Nish wrote to us: “It was beautiful for me at a Feminist Spring School. The society was very friendly and communicative. The lecturers were professional, ready for cooperation. They shared a lot of knowledge and experience with us. Most I liked Jeta Krasniqi, Valdete Idrizi and Laertes Hollaj. I met many new girls at this school whom I now call friends. We shared stories with each other and got to know each other better. We all realized that globally we have the same or similar problems no matter where we live, what our religion or nationality is. I believe that our friendship and cooperation has just begun and that together we can influence peace building.”
We thank from the heart our trainers and lecturers: Vjollca Krasniqin, Jeta Krasniqin, Elvana Shala, Valdete Idrizi, Boyd Mckechnie, Luljeta Demolli, Zana Hoxha, Learta Hollaj.
The project: “Young women build peace in Kosovo and Serbia” was implemented in cooperation with Artpolis – Art and Community Center and Alternativni Centar za Devojke while supported from European Union in Kosovo and Kvinna till Kvinna.

Mlade žene grade mir! Feministička prolećna škola
5. – 8. novembar, 2019 – Priština
Drugi
Hvala od srca našim trenericama/trenerima i predavačicama/predavačima: Vjollca Krasniqin, Jeta Krasniqin, Elvana Shala, Valdete Idrizi, Boyd Mckechnie, Luljeta Demolli, Zana Hoxha, Learta Hollaj.
