“Dream a Little Dream”, a performance that took place despite the darkness of KEDS

December 23, 2021

23.12.2021

It all starts with a dream, with an idea. Two dreamy girls were preparing for an audition in their home, and even the darkness caused by KEDS did not stop them. A few candles of a flashing light were enough to entertain them by singing and reciting poetry. The festive atmosphere was created by the fir tree placed in the corner, and the beautiful dresses designed by Martina Shtufi, which were hanging in wait to be worn by the future stars.

The audience, gathered at the Oda Theater on Thursday night, witnessed the power of art and artists, who do not give up even when struck by this bitter reality of social darkness. The actresses Qendresa Kajtazi and Daniela Markaj, accompanied by Alzan Gashi on piano, Endrit Xërxa on guitar and Drin Tashi on drums, lit up the Oda stage with their performance, which was a combination of music and poetry as a call for reflection, love, peace and finding a unique voice in order to celebrate the creativity of women artists who inspire each other and the community.

These artists and artists achieved the goal; inspired and aroused the enthusiasm of the public through their love of art and talent displayed.

The audience experienced a moment of artistic intimacy. And who better than artists can know that the most unforgettable moments are created in extraordinary conditions: in the dark, on the streets, in the rain and in the snow, in open and closed environments outside the institution. It is the art and the artists who know how to give such unforgettable moments as on the night of December 23, 2021.
