“Cabaret 1999” Continues Its Presentation at the Gjilan City Theatre

Artpolis held an advocacy meeting with representatives of student organizations and the Student Parliament of the University of Prishtina, as part of its commitment to advancing the implementation of the Regulation on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment and Harassment at the University of Prishtina (UP).
The meeting was attended by Venera Ismaili and Drilona Hamiti from Artpolis, Dr. Ariana Qosaj-Mustafa, an expert in public policy, rule of law, and gender equality, Melisa Kadolli from the Kosovo Women’s Network (KWN), representatives of the student organizations Reforma and Critical Study Action, as well as members of the Student Parliament.
During the discussion, Artpolis presented its long-standing work in the field of preventing sexual harassment at UP, recalling the process of drafting the Regulation in 2021, the challenges that have accompanied its implementation, and the urgent need to strengthen protective mechanisms for students.
The meeting focused on several concrete priorities that are intended to be advanced by the beginning of the new academic year 2026–2027:
· Improvement of reporting mechanisms for sexual harassment;
· Promotion of the regulation and increased awareness among students;
· Empowerment of students to report incidents.
Student representatives expressed full support for collaboration and committed to advancing in the Senate a proposal to include information about sexual harassment and reporting mechanisms in student contracts.
Artpolis remains committed to strengthening protection mechanisms and promoting institutional accountability, with the aim of ensuring that the University becomes a safe, inclusive, and dignified space for every student.
