On the evening of March 15, the Artpolis office was transformed into a small cinema. Young men and women gathered to watch and discuss the movie “She Said” directed by Maria Schrader and written by Rebecca Lenkiewcz.
“She Said” deals with the true story of two New York Times reporters, Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor, who exposed allegations of sexual abuse against the famous Hollywood producer, Harvey Weinstein.
This shocking story served as a starting point for the #MeToo movement, breaking decades of silence around the topic of sexual assault and harassment by people in authority.
The young people who were part of the film night, discussed the film and expressed their concerns regarding sexual harassment in the University of Pristina, but also in our society in general.
A film is a good way to stimulate discussion, and also to see young people’s views on sexual harassment.
The film night was organized by Artpolis within the “Humanrightivism” project supported by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency – Sida, implemented by the Community Development Fund – CDF.
